Denise Thunderhawk, L.Ac. is Licensed in Chinese medicine. She is an experienced health practitioner, nutrition/herb consultant, writer/author, and public speaker. She earned her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) upon completing over three thousand hours of didactic and clinical study of Oriental Medicine, encompassing Chinese, Japanese, and Korean styles.
She brings an extensive repertoire to her practice with a personal background in Psychology, philosophy, nutrition, and herbal medicine of over twenty-five years. She has researched and written extensively on various modes of holistic medicines: Oriental medicine, Naturopathy, Homeopathy, and Chinese and Western herbology & nutrition.

She is currently working on a companion book to The 5-Element Guide to Healing with Whole Foods, exploring how to heal specific Western conditions via Chinese nutrition therapy.
The 5-Element Guide to Healing with Whole Foods is her third published book. Her first book, A Bump in the Road (retired), won second prize in the 2006 New Mexico Discover Awards, in the category for creative nonfiction. Her second book, Rescue on White Thunder, an action adventure novel, is available on Amazon.
